$20.00

Description
If you’re from Cleveland you definitely know about the Hope Memorial Bridge, (also known as the Lorain–Carnegie Bridge). The bridge was built in 1932 and is 4,490-foot-long connecting Lorain Avenue on Cleveland’s west side and Carnegie Avenue on the east side, crossing the Cuyahoga River.
Four 43 foot high pairs of statues officially named the Guardians of Traffic are sculpted onto opposite-facing ends of two pairs of pylons, a pair at each end of the viaduct. They symbolize progress in transportation, in this case the 1930, automobile. The other Guardians hold either: a hay wagon, a covered wagon or a stagecoach, as well as four types of motorized trucks used for construction.
